Dermal fillers are either a naturally derived (from hyaluronic acid) or synthetic (collagen) inert material that is injected into the skin. The goal with a dermal filler is to plump the targeted area of the face sufficiently so that wrinkles, depressions, or other irregularities disappear. The effects of fillers like Restylane, Juverderm, Voluma, Scuptra, and Bellafill. The key to success with fillers is the experience of the physician. The location of the injection, correct dosage, type of filler, and more all must be decided in advance.
What Happens During My Treatment?
There is no pre-treatment regimen to follow. Your physician will decide on the proper location, dosage, and product to achieve the desired result. Then the filler will be injected as planned, usually into an area of the face. The treatment only takes a few minutes.
Are There Side Effects?
There may be slight redness, bruising and swelling in the treated area and/or some localized tenderness, but this will disappear within two weeks. There is a very slight risk of an allergic reaction as well.
When Will I See Results?
Clients will notice improvement as any swelling dissipates, but definitely within two weeks.
