Metformin appears to cause a loss of appetite and feelings of fullness and possibly lead to weight loss. If you are following a restricted diet and exercising regularly, you may see a significant reduction in weight.  Metformin decreases the amount of glucose, or sugar, produced by the liver to lower levels in the body. It also leads to a decreased absorption of glucose from the intestines. Furthermore, the drug increases sensitivity to insulin, allowing the body to use it more effectively.  The most frequent side effects of metformin are gastrointestinal. Nausea and vomiting may occur in 7 to 26 percent of individuals. Diarrhea may be seen in up to 53 percent of patients. Do not drink a lot of alcoholic drinks while taking metformin. Raspberry Ketone is a chemical from red raspberries that is thought to help for weight loss. Some research in animals shows that it might increase some measures of metabolism. Results showed that the extract from this remarkable fruit can regulate your metabolism and blood sugar, inhibit growth of fat cells and help control your appetite, leading to significant weight reduction.

Caralluma Fimbriata is a succulent plant, in the cactus family, that has been used as a natural appetite suppressant in India for centuries.  Caralluma Fimbriata is believed to block the activity of several enzymes, which then blocks the formation of fat, forcing fat reserves to be burned.  Caralluma Fimbriata is also believed to have an effect on the appetite control mechanism of the brain.
